Doris Cannon

Mrs. Doris June Cannon, age 91, died Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at West Tennessee Volunteer Hospital.

Funeral service will be Saturday, May 8, 2021, 12:00 Noon at First Baptist Church in Martin with Dr. Mike Sams officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday at the church beginning at 11:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 Noon.

Pallbearers are Mark Rushing, Bobby King, Rusty Daniels, Darryl Poiner, David Hawks and David Coates.  Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Daniels, Mike Garner, James Myrick, James Forsythe and Larry Brewer.

Mrs. Cannon was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby R. Cannon, her son, Terry Lynn Crowe; her parents, Jefferson Ira Pierce and Beulah Melinda Jolley Pierce; two grandsons, Brian Leonard and Philip Leonard; two brothers.

Mrs. Cannon was a retired seamstress and she was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Bob) Leonard of Elm Hurst, IL and Phil (Lea Ann) Crowe of Martin; four grandchildren, Amanda Crowe, Heather Crowe, Beth Ann Crowe and Tami DeLauriers; six great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.
