Donna Ashmore

Ms. Donna Kay Ashmore, age 74, of Martin died Thursday, August 10, 2023, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.

Funeral service will be Monday, August 14, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Josh Mullins officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday beginning at 11:00 A.M. until funeral time at 1:00.

Pallbearers are Justin Cruse, Brycen Dickson, Koby Ashmore, Michael Ashmore, Jimmy Joe Mullins, Steve McAlister and Matt Matisgreir.

Ms. Ashmore is survived by her children, Terry (Kristi) Ashmore and Cindy (John) Cruse all of Martin, Wyett Ashmore of Murray, KY and Misty (Brad) Depew of Greenfield, TN; one brother, Johnny Mullins of Martin, 12 grandchildren, Jennifer Rinks, Justin Cruse, Amber Cruse, Brittany Duke, Hagen Ashmore, Koby Ashmore, Kimberly Poyner, Michael Ashmore, Courtney Bryan, Paislee Birchem, Addilyn Depew and Audree Depew; 17 great-grandchildren.

She was retired after owning and operating Flossie's Florist in Martin.  She was a past member of Main Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawerance "Frog" Mullins and Bobbie Pope Mullins; one sister, Barbara Marr; two brothers, Jimmy Mullins and Donald Ray Mullins.
