Don Ellison

Joe Donald "Don" Ellison, 96, died Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden, Tennessee.

Graveside services will be Monday, September 23, 2024, 12:00 Noon at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Woodland, Mississippi.

He was born August 28, 1928 in Woodland, Mississippi.  He was married to Stella (Brents) Ellison.  Mr. Ellison retired from Ford Motor Company in Memphis, Tennessee.  He and his wife Stella then moved to Martin, Tennessee.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella; his parents, John and Carrie (Lewis) Ellison.  He leaves behind two daughters, Donna (Raymond) Bell of Martin and Barbara (David) Stockett of Hendersonville, TN.  He also leaves one granddaughter, Jennifer Weir of Hendersonville, TN and two grandsons, Cody (Katie) Bell of Murfreesboro, TN and Clayton (Jennifer) Stockett of Edmond, OK.  Also, four great-grandchildren, Caroline and Stella Stockett, Sam Martin and Sara Weir.
