Mr. Herman Denton "Denny" Ammons, Jr., age 44, died Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Maryland.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 30, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Bro. Furman Muzzall officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2016, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home.
Mr. Ammons is survived by his wife, Debbie Wilson Ammons of Martin; two sons, Denton Brance (Leah Ann Williams) Ammons of Union City and James Bradley Ammons of Martin; his mother, Sharon Levi Kendall of Lake City, Florida; his father and step-mother, Herman Denton Ammons, Sr. and Mary Ann Ammons both of Ripley, Tennessee; one sister and brother, Angela Copley and Christopher Ammons both of Lake City, Florida; one granddaughter, Emilie Claire Ammons; four nieces, Breanna Copley, Alyssa Copley, Madison Thomas and Kayla Ammons Lussier. Mr. Ammons was preceded in death by his step-father, Larry Kendall.
Mr. Ammons was a truck driver for Big G Express of Shelbyville, Tennessee. He was a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church in Union City, Tennessee.
