Daron Mcnatt

Mr. Daron D. McNatt, age 90, of Martin died Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral service will be Sunday, October 29, 2023, 2:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.  Visitation will be Sunday beginning at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home until service time at 2:00.

Pallbearers are Bill Fuqua, Billy Wright, Scott Norris, Steve Lemond, Cliff McWherter, Jay Pope, Russ Vincent and Stan McMinn.

Mr. McNatt was preceded in death by his wife, Robbie McMinn McNatt; his parents, William Jewell McNatt and Pattie Stephenson McNatt; one sister, Helen Lemond; three brothers, Charles Ralph McNatt, Hulon McNatt and Haldon McNatt.

He was retired as Senior Vice President of First Exchange Bank.  He began his career as an Officer and Agri Lender for Dyersburg Production Credit Association.  He was manager of Weakley County Co-op before joining First Exchange Bank in Martin.  He was a member and Deacon of Central Baptist Church and a veteran, U.S. Air Force.

Mr. McNatt was a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin and was one of the founding brothers of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.  Daron served as the financial advisor of the AGR Chapter for more than 30 years and, as the advisor, he provided instruction and financial advice necessary for the financial wellbeing of the Chapter and its brothers.

He is survived by his sons, Charles and wife, Melanie McNatt of Henderson, TN and David McNatt of Martin; two grandchildren, Mary Kathryn and husband, Jay Pope and Claire McNatt.
