Daphne Mathis

Mrs. Daphne Doreen Mathis, age 86, of Martin died Monday, 08/08/2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9, 2011, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Mathis was preceded in death by her husband, Isham (Ike) P. Mathis. She is survived by her son, Chris (June) Mathis of Martin; grandson, Todd (Lesley) Mathis; step-grandchildren, Angie (Burt) Bondurant and Shonna Sexton; great-granddaughter, Harper Mathis; step-great grandson, Zach Bondurant.

Mrs. Mathis formaerly worked at Martin Brothers and was a retired nurse. She formerly attended Main Street Baptist Church in Martin.
