Danny Harris

Mr. Thomas Dan (Danny) Harris, age 69, died Friday, April 17, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral Service will be Monday, April 20, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Martin at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the church until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Carol Wheeler Harris of Martin; his son, David Harris of Nashville; his daughter, Tressy (Carlo) Guadagno of St. Petersburg, Florida; his brother, Roy A. (Bucky) (Sherry) Harris of Martin; his sister, Ann (Edgar) Hall of Roxboro, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Gabriella Guadagno.

Mr. Harris was a retired carpenter. He owned and operated Harris Construction in Martin. He was a graduate of Martin High School and a member of First Baptist Church in Martin, TN; he was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy V. Harris and Mary Odell Allen.

The Family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Vietnam Veteran Memorial Fund.
