Cornelia Gardner Ortmann

Mrs. Cornelia Gardner Ortmann, age 99, of Martin, died Saturday, 10/14/2012, at Greenbrier Meadows Assisted Living.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Murphy Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with burial to follow in Gardner Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday beginning at 12 Noon until funeral time at 2:00 P.M.

Mrs. Ortmann was retired from Appleton Electric in Chicago, Ill.

Mrs. Ortmann was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ortmann; sisters, Gwendoline Alexander and Virginia Hester; brothers, Claude Gerald Gardner, Jim Gardner, and George Lee Gardner, and her parents, Claude and Cora Nowlin Gardner.

Mrs. Ortmann is survived by nieces, Brooxsie Simpson, Russelene Vancleave, Farah Graddy, Betty Schroeder and Louise Arnold; one nephew, Rev. Franklin Gardner.
