Mr. Clyde Lee Summers. age 92, of Martin TN, died Saturday, 06/21/2014, at his home.
Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home on Friday, June 27, 2014. Burial with Military Honors will be held at East Side Cemetery after the service. Visitation will begin Friday morning at 11:00 for two hours prior to service at 1:00 P.M.
Mr. Summers was a member of First Baptist Church, Martin TN; he was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the Army; he was a retired tool & die maker, owning Tecknikraft Tool Company. Mr. Summers was a 1940 graduate of Sharon High School in Sharon, TN.
Mr. Summers was preceded in death by wives, June Marie Ten-Eyck Summers and Mary Virginia Waterfield Hillard Summers.
Mr. Summers is survived by two daughters, Bevery Gail(David) Etter, Moscow, TN and Debra Lee (Michael) Brooks, McHenry IL; a son, Robert Dennis (Pattie Sue) Summers, Sharon TN; step daughters, Barbara Wells, Houston, TX, and Diane Duncan, Oklahoma OK; stepson, David Hillard, Houston TX; and a brother, James Milton Summers, Waco, TX; 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Summers was also preceded in death by a son, Clyde Wayne Summers, and his parents, Clyde Cecil and Tabor Witherington Summers.
