Mr. Clyde Douglas Jones, age 90, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Diversicare of Martin.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 14, 2017, 12:00 Noon at First Baptist Church in Martin with Dr. Mike Sams officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the church until service time at 12:00 Noon.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Walker, John High, Micha High, Larry Crutcher, Wendell Cates and Donald Ray High. Honorary Pallbearer is Ken Cavin.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Janette High Jones; his son, Dr. David Douglas (Donna) Jones all of Martin; his granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Jones of Knoxville.
Mr. Jones was a retired farmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin and was a veteran, U.S. Army WW II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fritz Douglas Jones and Vera Nell Lassiter Jones; his sister, Vera Evelene Deas; his step-father, Bryant Jones.
