Ms. Clara Nell Nixon Bailey Taylor, age 65, died Thursday, 05/24/2012, at her residence in Martin.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon on Saturday, two hour prior to funeral service 2:00 P.M.
Ms. Taylor is survived by her sons, John David Bailey of Martin and George Bailey of Paris, TN; her daughters, Debra (Roney) Capps and Terrie (Darren) Williams both of Dresden; brother, Virgil Nixon of Adamsville, TN; sister, Martha Ingle of Savannah, TN; six grandchildren, Jessica (Stephen) Johns, Jeremy Moss, Zachary Bailey; Payton Williams, John Austin Bailey and Olivia Bailey; one great-grandchild, Jayden Johns. Also survived by her companion and caregiver, John Bailey.
Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Nixon and Velvie Pounds Nixon.
She was a homemaker and a member of Free Will Baptist Church in Adamsville, TN.
