Charles Vernon (C.V.) Jones

Mr. Charles Vernon Jones, age 78, of 271 Donoho Road, Martin TN, died Friday at Jackson-Madison Co. Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be 1:00 PM Monday, 09/15/2008, at New Home Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Dresden TN. Visitation will be Sunday, 09/14/2008, 5:00 & 8:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home; his remains will be taken to New Home Church Monday at 10:00 AM until service time.
Mr. Jones was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of New Home Baptist Church.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Betty Reeves Jones, Martin TN; two daughters, Susan Pollard & Barbara Collier, both of Martin TN, four sons; Jim Judkins, Churchhill TN, Ray Jones, Crosby, TN, Kenny Turnbow & Bobby Turnbow, both of Martin TN.
Also surviving are two sisters; Mary Barner, Sharon TN, and Viola Simpson, Dresden TN, and a half brother, Carl Gallimore, Jr. of Dresden TN.
Mr Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mary Clark Jones, three brothers, Arthur, Tommy, & Joe Jones, two sisters, Mable Watson, & Martha Cannon; and a half sister, Artricia Campbell.
He leaves 20 grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.
