Preceded in death by his wife, Valma Abernathy Winstead

Survived by his son, Kenny Winstead of Baton Rouge, LA and step-son,Lamar Woodruff of Bartlett, TN

Survived by his daughter, Angie Hooper of Martin

Survived by his sister, Rachel Winstead of Dresden

Survived by step-brother, Carthel Wheeler

Preceded in death by parents, Ellis Lee Winstead and Millie Bushart Winstead

Survived by 5 grandchildren and one great-grandson

Mr. Winstead was a retired business manager of I.B.E.W. and a member of Pisgah Methodist Church.
