Charles Davis

Mr. Charles Arthur Davis, age 76, of Martin died Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral Service will be Friday, March 13, 2015, at Murphy Funeral Home; 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Friday beginning at 10:00 A.M. until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Margarette Craft Davis; his parents, Clifford Davis and Bonnie Huey Davis; one brother, Boyd R. Davis.

Mr. Davis was a retired truck driver. He attended schools in the Tiptonville school system.

Mr. Davis is survived by his sons, Butch (Lisa) Davis of Martin, and Charlie (Karen) Davis of Martin; his grandsons, Dr. Cory Stanwyck Davis of Spring Hill, TN and Jason Charles (Louisa) Davis of Lewisburg, TN and two great-grandsons, Jackson C. and William C. Davis of Lewisburg, TN. He is also survived by three brothers, Norman L. (Jeanette) Davis of Martin, Clifton T. (Cheryl) Davis of Ridgely, TN and Lloyd K. (Prissy) Davis of Berwick, LA.
