Carl Danner, Jr.

Mr. Carl Danner, Jr., age 90, of Martin died Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital.

Funeral service will be Sunday, September 11, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 2:00 P.M. Burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Visitation will Saturday, September 10, 2011, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Danner was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Ruth Williams Danner; parents, Carl Danner, Sr. and Maggie Crockett Danner; Infant son, Jerry Danner; brother, Freeman Danner; sister, Agnes Harris.

Mr. Danner is survived by his sons, Donald (Donna) Danner of Martin and Phillip Danner of Dresden; daughter, Barbara (Jerry) Houston of Martin; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Mr. Danner was a former barber and retired from UTM Central Storage. He was U.S. Army Veteran World War II and a member of Central Baptist Church.
