Butch Shelley

Mr. James William "Butch" Shelley, age 79, of Martin died Friday, March 15, 2024, at West Tennessee Volunteer Hospital.

Graveside service will be Sunday, March 17, 2024, 2:00 P.M. at Cate Cemetery with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating.  Family and friends may assemble at 1:45 P.M. in the cemetery.

Pallbearers are Sammy Ogg, Scotty Ogg, Wylie Ogg, O.P. Ogg, William Shelley, Sam Shelley, Ronald Plunk and T.J. Cooper.

Mr. Shelley is survived by his children, William (Meg) Shelley of Martin and Angela (Mark) Abbott of Kenton, TN; one sister, Cathy (Jack) Ogg of Martin; two grandchildren, Kennedy Basham and Sam Shelley.

Butch was a retired dairy farmer and was Baptist by faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Samuel Shelley and Dorothy Wright Shelley.
