Mr. Buren Cornelius Smith, age 101, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at his residence.
Funeral services will be Sunday, 11/3/2013, with graveside services at 2:00 PM at East Side Cemetery, Martin TN. Visitation will be after 12:00 PM (Noon) Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith was preceded
in death by his wife, Yuellette Brundige Smith; parents, Ellis B. Smith and Lillie Wardlaw Smith; daughter, Glenda Collier. He is survived by three daughters, Joyce Smith of Huntsville, Alabama, Sue (Curt) Wilhelm of Harlingen, TX and Phyllis (Troy) Vaught of Graham, Texas; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren.
Mr. Smith was a retired farmer and U.S. Army WW II veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
