Graveside service will be Friday, February 27, 2009, at East Side Cemetery at 4:00 P.M. Friends may assemble at the cemetery at 3:45 P.M. Visitatiopn will be Thursday, 02/26/2009, between 5:00 & 7:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home; the will be no visitation on Friday.
Survived by wife, Judy Roberts Keene of Martin
Survived by step-son, Monte Belew of Knoxville
Survived by brother and sister, Manuel Keene of Kuwait City, Kuwait and Deborah Keene of Little Rock, Ark.
Preceded in death by parents, Clyde Keene and Lena Hudson
Mr. Keene retired from the University of Tennessee at Martin where he taught English for 34 years. He was a member of the Church of God.
