Survived by wife, Joyce Bell Ward of Martin

Survived by sons, Mark A. Ward of Louisville, TN and Vance Edward Ward of Huntingdon, TN

Suvived by daughters, Karen Lee of Dresden, TN and Aaronda Joyce Ward of Dyersburg, TN

Preceded in death by daughter, Tracy Louise Thompson

Survived by sisters, Brenda Prince of Newburn; Joyce Floyd, Peggy Watson, Jo Ruth Smith, Dorothy Nell Dean all of Ridgley; and Barbara Heidel of Wartburg, TN

Preceded in death by brother, Roy Ward

Preceded in death by parents, Ulis Ward and Lula Lemonds Ward

Survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren

Bro. Ward ministered at Church of God of Prophecy in Martin.
