Mrs. Brenda Faye Damron Evans, age 74, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Van Ayer Healthcare and Rehab in Martin.
Funeral Service will be Friday, January 27, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2017, 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church, or after 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the church until funeral time.
Pallbearers will be Mike Taylor, Jerome Seymour, Glenn Hudson, Jimmy Damron, Jerry Houston and Brett Evans.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband, James Donald Evans of Martin; daughter, Rev. Anisa Kaye Evans (Brenda) of Evansville, Indiana; son, Brian Keith Evans (Dana) of McMinnville, TN; sister, Marcia Gallardo of Lexington, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Brooke and Brett Evans and Noelle Kreiger; one niece, Ashley Pierce of Lexington, Tennessee.
Mrs. Evans was a homemaker, an artist and a published author of two poetry books. She was a graduate of Martin High School and a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Eric Evans; her parents, George L. Damron and Jewel Pauline Hester Damron.
