Bonnie Lackey Mansfield

Mrs. Bonnie Lackey Mansfield, age 90, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Mac McCaleb officiating. Burial will follow in Cates Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home, or after 10:00 Wednesday morning at the church until service time.

Pallbearers will be Mike Butler, Glen Butler, Ricky Mansfield, Duane Merritt and Gerald Merritt.

Mrs. Mansfield was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Mayo Mansfield; parents, Major Haze Lackey and Ima Hurt Lackey; sisters, Aileen Butler, Blondell Gardner and Montie Blake; brothers, Jack Lackey, Hassell Lackey and Alvey Lackey.

Mrs. Mansfield's mother passed away when she was two weeks old and she was raised by Kenneth and Montie Blake; Montie being her oldest sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Kay Wright of Rosseville, TN, Debbie Sue Dowdy of Benton, KY; her son, Gary Mansfield of Martin; seven grandchildren, Retired Master Sargent Terry Wayne Mansfield, Trevor Chappell Mansfield, Kelly Cavin Mansfield Kirkpatrick, Karen Shelton, Kristie Baird, Emily Milam and Tiffany Hopkins; 16, great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren.
