Mr. Bobby Joe Garner, age 78, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin, TN.
Funeral Service will be Friday, May 18, 2018 11:00 At Murphy Funeral Home Chapel, Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am at Murphy Funeral Home two hours prior to service.
Mr. Garner is survived by his son Mike (Bridget) Garner of Burton, Texas, two daughters, Jo Ann (Russ) Wireman of Martin, TN; and Tammy (George) Larrauri, of Dresden, TN. And his brother Jackie (Betty) Garner of Martin, Tn and sister Trudy (Larry) Hastings of South Fulton, TN. He was survived by 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 4 step Grandchildren.
Mr. Garner was preceded in in death by his wife Shirley Howard Garner. And his parents Hubert (Hootie) Garner and Rubie Arnold Garner. His sisters, Patricia Stepp and Dorothy Jackson and 1 Great-Grandchild.
Mr. Garner was a retired truck driver Argo Collier Truck Line and Akin-Porter.
Mr. Garner was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church in Martin, TN.
Pallbearers are Steven Pope, Ross Garner, Rob Shadowens, Randall Garner, Dalton Cashion, Bryce Garner and Bryan Garner.
Honorary Pallbearers are Bobby Greer, Doug Copeland, Tara Morris, Mike Moss, Jerry Harris, Phillip Bynum, Tom Cantrell and Pee Wee Morris.
