Bobbie Gardner

Bobbie Jean Blanchett Gardner, age 91 of Martin, TN died on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Signature Health Care in Rogersville, TN.

Mrs. Gardner was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church.  She retired from West TN Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in the dietary department.  Bobbie was loved by all who knew her.  She had a strong faith in God and was a true servant to all.  She enjoyed singing the old gospel hymns and sharing her southern cooking with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Harold Gardner, sister, Sue Ray; brother, Rubbert Dean; parents, Lexie and Ella Dean.

She is survived by her sons, Tim (Barbara) Seaton of Rogersville, TN and Jeff (Michelle) Seaton of Paris, TN; daughter, Wanda Barnhardt of Kenton, TN; grandchildren, Jimmy Moore, Deanna (Dwain) Seaton, Shannon (Carla) Seaton, Krystle (Eric) Smith; and Ashley (Greg) Cavill; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 14 at 11am-12pm at Murphy Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at 12pm with Rev. Terry Griffin officiating.  Burial will immediately follow in New Hope Cemetery in Latham. 

Pallbearers will be Shannon Seaton, J.D. Seaton, Eric Smith, Glyn Dean, Jimmie Moore and Marty Townes.
