Billie Sue Walker

Mrs. Billie Sue Walker, age 96, of Martin died Monday, January 22, 2024, at Weakley County Nursing and Rehab Center in Dresden, TN.

Funeral service will be Thursday, January 25, 2024, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Cooper and Pastor Amanda Crice officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home until service time at 1:00.

Pallbearers are Lang Unger, Chris Butler, Lee Pritchett, Greg Moore, Steve Bell and Milo Borden.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles Dale and Mary Walker of Nashville, Tennessee.

She was a retired Director of Respiratory Therapy at Volunteer General Hospital in Martin.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Martin.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Walker and her parents, Charlie Rickman and Ellie Holden Rickman.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the First United Methodist Church or Weakley County Relay for Life.
