Billie Stover

Mr. Billie Thomas Stover, age 88, died Friday, June 28, 2019, at Diversicare in Martin.

Funeral service will be Monday, July 1, 2019, 1:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church in Martin with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 1st, at the church until service time at 1:00.

Pallbearers are Casey Bell, Devin Pittman, Adam Stephens, Chris Williams, Houston Persinger and Peter Taylor.  Honorary pallbearers are the men of the Apostles Sunday School Class at Central Baptist Church.

Mr. Stover is survived by his wife, Jeane Carolyn Littrell Stover, daughters, Christy (James Denton) Bell, Linda (David) Sudberry all of Martin and Mitsie (Ricky) Witherspoon of Lakeland, TN; eight grandchildren, Deena (Devin) Pittman, Lanna (Adam) Stephens, Casey (Dana) Bell, Courtney (Chris) Williams, Camille (Houston) Persinger, Bryan Sudberry, Megan Witherspoon and Lauren (Peter) Taylor;  14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Louise Rowlett Stover of Martin.

Mr. Stover was a retired farmer and a 1949 graduate of Martin High School.  He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Thomas Stover and Essie Milner Stover; brother, Cecil Stover.
