Betty Sue Pope

Mrs. Betty Sue Allen Pope, age 75, of Martin died Monday, April 9, 2011, at Martin Health Care.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 13, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Pope is survived by her husband, Jerry N. Pope of Martin; sons, Steve Pope of South Fulton, TN and Stan Pope of Martin; daughters, Tenna (Jimmy) Bynum of South Fulton, TN and Tamera (Donald) Bowlin of Martin; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pope was preceded in death by parents, Hugh Allen and Nora Doxey Allen; brothers, Charles Allen and Bobby Hugh Allen; sisters, Velma Allen and Nettie Arant.

Mrs. Pope retired from Martin Manufacturing and graduated from South Fulton High School. She was a member of McConnell Baptist Church.
