Betty Oliver

Mrs. Betty Ruth Crews Oliver, age 76, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at her residence.

Funeral service will be Friday, April 13, 2012, at Murphy Funeral Home; 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Tansil Cemetery near Sharon. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, two hour prior to funeral service at 1:00 P.M.

Mrs. Oliver is survived by her husband, Olen B. Oliver of Dresden; her son, Chuck Oliver of Martin; her daughters, Ann Oliver of Dresden and Kim Oliver Hawks of Martin; her mother, Ruth Williams Crews of Lansing, Michigan; sister, Margaret Pollard of Lansing, Michigan; Best friend, Mrs. Faye Howerton Williams of Tiptonville, TN; two grandsons, Andrew Oliver and Cody Oliver both of Martin. She was preceded in death by her father, W.E. (Red) Crews.

Before retirement Mrs. Oliver was a bookkeeper for Argo-Collier Truck Line in Martin. She was a graduate of Tiptonville High School and attended Bethel Church of Christ and Lexington Church of Christ.
