Visitation will be Friday, September 7, 2007, at Murphy Funeral Home, 4:00 - 7:00 P.M.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday morning at the church until funeral time at 11:00 A.M.

Survived by his wife, Julia Rowe Fisher of Martin

Survived by his son, James Fisher of Martin

Survived by step-sons: Sonny Smith of Rockport, TX and William Smith of Panama Bay, FL

Survived by step-daughters: Sandra Chesney of Knoxville and Lucy Milton of Brentwood, TN

Survived by sister, Angeline Farmer of Martin

Survived by grandchildren, Bryant James Fisher and Andrew Jack Fisher both of Martin

Preceded in death by parents, Baxter J. Fisher, Sr. and Angeline Wilson Fisher

Mr. Fisher was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Martin. He was a retired professor at the University of Tennessee at Martin and former owner of Fisher Insurance Company.
