Barbara Lancaster

Mrs. Barbara Lynn House Lancaster, age 60, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at Jackson Madison County Hospital.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in McKenzie, Tennessee at the Bethel Performing Arts Center on Stonewall Street. Dr. Robert Prosser will preach. Burial will follow in Tansil Cemetery in Sharon, Tennessee. The first visitation will be at Murphy Funeral Home on Saturday, January 30, 2016, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Second visitation will take place on Sunday at the Bethel Performing Arts Center in McKenzie beginning at 2:00 P.M. until funeral time at 3:00 P.M.

Mrs. Lancaster is survived by her husband, R. David Lancaster of Martin; her daughters, Leah Jo Lancaster of McKenzie and Laura Elizabeth (Dusty) Davidson of Martin; her sons, Peter (Nikki) Lancaster of Atlanta, Ga and Joel (Elizabeth) Lancaster of Taipei, Taiwan; her father and step-mother, Fred and Nancy House of Martin; brothers, Joel Edward House of Northville, MI and Jeffery Craig House of Auburn, Indiana; one granddaughter, Vayda Lancaster.

She was a homemaker and a graduate of Bethel University. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a lifelong children's Sunday School teacher.

Mrs. Lancaster was preceded in death by her mother, Margie Baker House.
