Barbara Branon

Mrs. Barbara Ann Clifton Branon, age 74, of Martin died Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Van Ayer Manor.

Funeral service will be Thursday, August 14, 2014, First Baptist Church in Martin at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at Murphy Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., or after 12:00 Noon on Thursday at the church until funeral time at 2:00 P.M.

Mrs. Branon is survived by her husband, Ken Branon; her son, Jeff (Cheryl) Branon; her daughter, Debbie (Randy) Ary all of Martin; her brother, Johnny Wayne Clifton of Huntingdon, TN; five grandchildren, Lacy (Jay) Wilson, Ashley (David) Bourne, Holly (Jonathan) Dethloff, Shannon (Cliff) McWherter, Hunter Branon; seven great-grandchildren, Hallie Arnold, Noah Arnold, Kennedi Bourne, Scout Bourne, Kohen McWherter, Brigham McWherter, Jaxton Dethloff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Wilson Clifton and Myrtle Marie Adams Clifton.

Mrs. Branon was a retired educator. She taught many years at Martin Elementary School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
