Mr. James Aubrey Jackson, Sr., 94, died Friday at his home. Funeral service will be Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Murphy Funeral Home; 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Jackson will begin at 12:00 Noon on Sunday until funeral time at 2:00 P.M.
Preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Smith Jackson. Survived by son, Jim (Betty) Jackson of Martin; one grandson, Jason Jackson of Martin. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by parents, James H. Jackson and Bertha Glisson Jackson; one grandson, Jay Jackson.
Mr. Jackson was a retired farmer, WW II U.S. Army Air Corps and a member of Obion Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
