Atlas Brewer

Mr. James Atlas Brewer, age 79, of Martin died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Martin Health Care.

Funeral service will be Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Murphy Funeral Home; 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow in Gardner Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2011, at the funeral home; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Brewer is survived by his wife, Dollie Mae Smith Brewer of Martin; his sons, Steve (LaRee) Brewer, Donnie (Nell) Brewer and Mark (Tammy) Brewer all of Martin; his brother, Bitsy Brewer of Sharon, TN; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Brewer and Minnie Morgan; sister, Christine Russ.

Mr. Brewer was retired from Nappa Auto Parts in Martin. He was a retired minister and a member of Gardner Church of Christ in Martin.
