Arthur Glendale Fuqua

Mr. Arthur Glendale Fuqua, age 85, of Jackson, TN, died Friday, 03/15/2024, at the Christian Care Center, Medina, TN.

Funeral services will be on Monday, 03/18/2024, at 1:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home, with Roy Weaver and Rev Franklin Gardner officiating, with burial to follow at the East Side Cemetery.  Visitation 

will be after 11:00 AM Monday until service time at the funeral home. Family will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Fuqua was of the Baptist faith, and served at several churches in the area, serving as Deacon at some.  He was retired from the U.S.D.A. Soil Conservation, he was at the Milan UT Station, and he worked at Lowes as a Lawn and Garden Sales Rep.

Mr. Fuqua is survived by his wife, Amelia Frields Fuqua, Jackson, TN; three sons, Gregory Dale (Sylicia) Fuqua, Jackson, TN, Michael Allen (Teresa) Fuqua, Rutherford, TN, and Brian Chad Fuqua, Jackson, TN; five grandchildren, Cody Fuqua, Curt Fuqua, Catie Jackson, Anna Paige Hunt, and Taylor Beth Bolton; four great grandchildren, Beau Fuqua, Hattie Wren Hunt, Walker Jackson and Leary Rose Fuqua; and a sister, Elfrieda Brown, Milledgeville, GA.

Mr. Fuqua was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Alissa Fuqua, and his parents, Buford S. and Hallie Gaynell Hester Fuqua.
