Lt. Commander Arthur Adam (Art) Guetterman, Jr. died Thursday, 06/03/2010, at his home in Martin.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 6, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Martin; 2:00 P.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Murphy Funeral Home; 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., or after 1:00 P.M. on Sunday at First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Heidrick Guetterman of Martin; sons, Lee (Drew) Guetterman of Lenior City, TN, Bob (Lorrie) Guetterman of Anaheim, California; daughters, Karen (Ken) Kirkland of Martin, Peggy (Dan) Olivas of Weatherford, TX and Kathy (Matthew) Gentil of Annandale, VA. 12 grandchildren survive.
Lt. Commander Guetterman was retired U.S. Navy, 23 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Martin TN.
