Mrs. Angeline "Angie" Fisher Damron, age 90, of Martin, TN, died Saturday 04/13/2024, at Jackson Madison County Hospital, Jackson, TN.
Funeral service will be Friday, April 19 at The First United Methodist Church at 12:00 pm with Pastor Amanda Crice and Bryant Fisher officiating. Visitation will be 10:00-12:00 at the church. Burial will be at the Campground Cemetery immediately following the service.
Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
Mrs. Damron was a member of First United Methodist Church, Martin, TN. She was retired Clerk and Master of Weakley County, the first female to hold that position. She had a servant's heart and was always looking for ways to help others. She loved all the babies a "bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck."
Mrs. Damron is survived by her daughter, Dawne (David) Belote, Martin, TN; nine grandchildren, Joshua (Alex) Damron, Aubryana (Cameron) Peterson, Walter Louis "Luke" (Marlene) Damron, II, Lesley (Anir) Patel, Patrick (Lucy) Belote, Christopher (Jessica) Belote, Emily (Ben) Johnson, Amy (Bryant) Fisher, and Barrett Belote; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha High, Martin, TN.
Mrs. Damron was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Louis Damron; two sons, Walter Stephen (Steve) Damron, and Randall Fisher "Randy" Damron, and her parents, Wendell and Gertrude Estes Fisher.
