Alice Jacobs Hankins

Mrs. Alice Hankins, age 96, died Saturday, 09/05/2020, at VanAyer Manor Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, 09/08/2020,  at Gardner Cemetery, near Martin, TN, with Rev Mike Sams officiating, with burial to follow.  Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hankins was a member of First Baptist Church; she was retired from Martin Manufacturing Company and a caregiver .

Mrs. Hankins is survived by her son, Terry (Wanda) Hankins, of Martin, TN; seven grandchildren, Brent Hankins, John Michael Hankins, Travis Lane Hankins, Bethany Hankins Ciaramitaro, Joshua Dana Hankins, Jacob Taylor Hankins,  and Brook Sipes; six great grandchildren, Abby Hankins, Ethan Hankins, Ben Hankins, River Lane Hankins, Landyn Joseph Hankins, and Greyson Ford Hankins; and one great grand child, Myles Anderson.

Mrs. Hankins was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Albert Hankins; also her daughter, Thea Joan Hankins; her sons, Joe Brent Hankins, Gary Hankins, and Dana Joe Hankins; her brother, Robert Jacobs; her sisters, Eula Goforth, Vera Croley, Katheryn Grantham, and Lillian Reed, Sally Limbocker; and her parents, Jim and Theadosha Newton Jacobs.

Pallbearers will be Brent Hankins, John Michael Hankins, Travis Lane Hankins, Joshua Dana Hankins, Jacob Taylor Hankins, Joseph Sipes; Honorary Pallbearers will be Abby Hankins, Bethany Hankins Ciaramitaro, and Brook Sipes.
