Ailene Gammill

Mrs. Ailene Kates Gammill, age 88, of Martin died Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at her daughter's residence.

Private services will be held.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Gammill; her granddaughter, Bethany Scott Mills; her parents, Homer Kates and Dorothy Lyles Kates.  Ailene was the fifth of eight children.

Ailene Kates Gammill is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Kirk (Michael), Tina Boyd (Steve), eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She also leaves her brothers, Gene and Bobby Kates of Fort Worth, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

Ailene Kates Gammill was a Methodist.
