Mr A. Harold Garner, age 94, of Garner Rd, Martin TN, died Friday, 01/04/2013, at Martin Health Care.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, 01/07/2013, at Murphy Funeral Home, with burial to follow at East Side Cemetery, Martin TN. Visitation will Be Sunday, 01/06/2013, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr Garner was a retired farmer; he owned and operated Garner's Grocery with his son. He was a member of Mt.Pelia Baptist Church.
Mr Garner is survived by his son, Monte Garner, of Martin TN, three Grandchildren; Mona Garner, of California, Dale Garner and Kim Thayer, both of Martin TN, eight Great Grandchildren, and two Great Great Grandchildren, two sisters; Macie Dennison, Newburn TN, Ruth Mace, California.
Mr Garner was preceded in death by his wife Earline Gill Garner, his wife Mae Myatt Garner, a sister, Dorothy Cooper, brothers Leonard and James Garner, and his parents, Lee and Grace LaGrant Garner.
